About This Spot

Stepping into Meduza, you’re welcomed by an inviting blend of calm and creative energy nestled on Gospodar-Jevremova street. This is more than just a café—it’s a tucked-away cultural nook where art, conversation, and leisure intertwine effortlessly. Soft house music hums gently in the background, setting a relaxed rhythm that encourages both quiet reflection and easy socializing.

The space feels thoughtfully curated, with warm, mellow lighting that highlights cozy corners perfect for settling in with a book, your laptop, or good company. During the day, sunlight filters through the windows, spotlighting the subtle artistic details adorning the walls and shelves. Outside, the alfresco seating invites passersby to linger and watch the neighborhood's unhurried flow, creating a serene spot detached from the city’s usual bustle.

Meduza’s atmosphere is underpinned by a genuine sense of community and slower pace. Here, people still relish the simple pleasure of leafing through a newspaper or sharing quiet moments over carefully crafted drinks. The staff’s friendly presence makes every visit feel personal, as though you’ve found a special corner of Belgrade to return to again and again.

Drinks are thoughtfully prepared, from rich espresso and traditional Turkish coffee to a carefully mixed Gin Tonic or a classic Americano. Whether you’re seeking a comforting cup to start your day or an expertly poured cocktail to unwind, the menu enhances the overall experience without overwhelming it. Sweet indulgences like the carrot cake and chocolate muffin offer gentle, unpretentious treats that fit perfectly with the café’s understated charm.

Meduza’s identity extends beyond its café roots, doubling as an art gallery and cultural hub. It’s a place that encourages discovery—whether through visual art, finding that perfect blend of coffee, or simply soaking up a welcoming ambiance that balances the everyday with a touch of inspiration.

Great little cafe, I love the fact people still come here to grab a drink and flick through a newspaper. They play cool house music in the background, the place has a great ambience about it with the lighting they have installed. Plenty of seats outside in the alfresco area and there are power points inside to work from your laptop. They seem to have specials if you buy a coffee and croissant so why not I say, perfect start to the day! #BeatTheGrind

first of all, the interiors are very lovely! very nice atmosphere during the day, great for working or reading. the coffee was delicious, and they have plant-based options (soy and oat milk), which is a big plus. also, the carrot cake is probably the best one i’ve ever tried! people working there are also very friendly. overall, highly recommended for your next coffee date!

One of my favorite place in Belgrade. Super cozy atmosphere with delicious coffee and friendly, kind staff. You can work on your laptop, read your book or hangout with your friend! Moreover, the music is pretty good, which is a big plus! I definitely recommend this place!

Came here for breakfast only to find out they don't serve food, just some cookies. Otherwise it is a nice cozy little place with very nice hot chocolate! Coffee is good as well. They serve a wide range of alcoholic drinks as well.

Lovely atmosphere, alternative, with friendly people. Make sure to try the organic wines of Janovi vinogradi! Recommending the Muscat MO selection, Chardonnay and red 60/40! Cheers

Nice place with cool ambience. Internet is available, although sitting arrangement is not ideal for long term laptop work if that’s what you intend to do. Coffee is great. It’s a good place to hang out or do a quick work but not for digital nomad ( as you might see its name in multiple places suggesting this place to work remotely from)
